How to prevent novel coronavirus pneumonia?
1. Wear a mask
For children with the purpose of self-protection and reducing the risk of respiratory tract infection, disposable surgical masks should be worn in hospitals, confined spaces, crowded places, etc.; in ventilated spaces with low population density, masks may not be worn.
Before wearing the mask, check whether it is within the validity period. The protective effect of all types of masks is effective. In addition, the mask should be worn after washing hands. It is recommended to replace it every 4 hours.
2. Alcohol free hand sanitizer
When coughing or sneezing, cover your mouth and nose with paper towels. The paper towels used to cover your mouth and nose or wipe your nose should be wrapped up and discarded in the covered dustbin.
When it is inconvenient to wash hands in running water when going out, parents should use alcohol free hand sanitizer to disinfect their hands after coughing, sneezing and wiping their children’s nose. Infants should use special wet wipes for infants.
3. Wear gloves
Wear gloves when going out, any daily gloves are OK, but do not wear wet gloves; try to reduce the contact with public goods and parts in public places. Teach children not to touch around when they go out. When they are not sure whether their hands are clean, avoid touching the mouth, nose and eyes with their hands.
4. Clean and disinfect in time after returning home
After going home, you should first take off your clothes and change your shoes, then wash your hands and face carefully. If your child cooperates, you can clean your nose and mouth. Clothes, gloves and carry on items worn when going out should be cleaned and disinfected in time if they are suspected of being infected with virus (such as going to fever clinic).
